We are shocked and awed by the images of what Hurricane Dorian has done  to the Bahamas, moving at only one mile an hour at September 2, 2019. The hurricane has winds recorded up to 185 miles.

Storm surge,Torrential rains and high wind are pounding the island, and people are praying for mercy. Is this what life is all about? Obviously yes. Life is not only eating a bowl of cherries. We are here at God's mercy and sometimes we cross the line and there is judgment. We learn this from Psalms 148:8, where it says, ruach s'arah o'suh d'varo, or the storm wind doing His word.

 I analyzed the term, si'ara or storm based on gematria which is 335, and it eerily equals G-d's holy names, Hashem Elokim, with the hidden and revealed letters. This teaches  us that this storm energy comes directly from G-d. 

 I also found an amazing connection between the Torah and Talmud Bavli as per the issue of judgment.
The Torah says, hatzur tamim pa'alo ki chol derachav mishpat, or the Rock, perfect is his work, for all his paths are justice. The Gematria of this phrase is 1726. See Deut. 32:4

What I found interesting about this phrase is that every seventh letter from the tsadi of tsur to the pei from paalo to the lamed of chol can be found the initials of my mother's three names, including Tsipporah Feige Leah.  To me she was saintly. Tragically, she died in a car accident on the way to Canada erev Pesach on 4-21-78. I wrote about it and put it in a download at

I always wondered why she was taken away from me so young of 14 years old, until I found a phrase in Talmud Yevamos 121b as noted and I paraphrase it as noted in the book of Sabbath Shiurim by Rabbi Miller, who quotes Rabbi Aba who says...Hakadosh Baruch Who Medakdeik Im Sevivav ke'chut hasarah...or God is meticulous with the righteous even to a thread of hair. This phrase is also 1726. 
This teaches us that Hashem took my mother away for some infraction of justice only God knows....
But of course, His judgment is perfect.

Where is justice in this world?  With aid of Gematria, we have a clue into the real mysteries of this world that are basically unanswerable.  In the Torah reading called Mikeitz, Pharoah, king of ancient Egypt, tells Joseph, "I dreamt a dream but there is no interpretation." The phrase in Hebrew is Chalom Chalamti ufoseir ain oso. The Gematria of this term is 1726. A dream with no interpretation are like the tragic events happening all over the world. One tragic story happens and then another one and then another one. How can we explain these acts of wanton senseless, murder? From a Jewish perspective and from one who studies Bible/Torah, I can share some thoughts. I learned the following from my uncle Sholom Langner. The Torah sections are the following in the book of leviticus; acharei mos , kedoshim, emor .
