How do we obtain a blessed year? The proof is based on numerology...

We say in our daily prayers, Blessed are you Hashem, Who blesses the years...or Baruch Atah Hashem , mivareich hashanim. The gematria of this phrase is 1327. Another phrase with the same number can be found at Mishlei or proverbs 31:20  , where it says, capah parsah le'ani, vyadeha shilchah la'evyon , or She stretches her hand out to the poor and  she reaches her hands out to the needy....

Chabad Poway, CA, scene of terrorist attack How can innocent people be mowed down? What crime did they do? Do we have answer? Do we have a clue? Where is justice in this world?  With aid of Gematria, we have a clue into the real mysteries of this world that are basically unanswerable.  In the Torah reading called Mikeitz, Pharoah, king of ancient Egypt, tells Joseph, "I dreamt a dream but there is no interpretation." The phrase in Hebrew is Chalom Chalamti ufoseir ain oso. The Gematria of this term is 1726. A dream with no interpretation are like the tragic events happening all over the world. Things happening and there is no interpretation. No one seems to know why. See Genesis 41:15. One tragic story happens and then another one and then another one. How can we explain these acts of wanton senseless, murder? From a Jewish perspective and from one who studies Bible/Torah, I can share some thoughts. I learned the following from my uncle Sholom Langner. The Torah sections are the following in the book of leviticus; acharei mos , kedoshim, emor . Or, after the death, holy ,,,you can say....It means that only after one dies, the person is sanctified and or that we must say the kadish prayers after the death of a loved one. Kadish prayers are an ancient prayer written in Aramic which praises God in the midst of our pain and suffering. This shows us our true faith in God.
